(Awesome)* Records, Great Songs!

After we won Tim & Eric’s contest by answering the question “Name 10 things that aren’t Jackie Chan?” (it was harder than it seems), we recieved a CD from them as a prize. The CD is an album of Tim & Eric’s finer songs and jingles from the sensational TV show : Tim & Eric Awesome Show : Great Job! We listened and it was hands down the most genuine and genius piece of audio we have heard this year. This album rocketed from our HQ all the way to the moon AND made a colony (they aren’t going anywhere).

timandericA couple of us want to give song specific reviews to select songs on this transendental CD:

“No Sunsets is an amazingly touching song that features Casey and his brother (Tatum) dealing with abondonment through song. The compelling sax solo in the start of the song as well in the end sets the feeling and mood of this brilliant song. We hope you see your dog and mom soon, Casey.” -Dylan

“Sports betrays my feelings about sports in the extremest of ways. Not to mention, the drum solo kicks ass.” -Jack

This song has a story of a kid who runs a cotton candy machine, you know a candy machine operator. He has a romance with his dad’s dirty socks. Its a simple dad to son dilemma. Tim & Eric gave so much life to this growing problem in America today.” -Phil

Great Parents

If you enjoyed AwkwardFamilyPhotos.com then you will really like this. Why The Fuck Do You Have Kids? This great website (with an extremely to the point URL www.whythefuckdoyouhaveakid.com , I am glad it wasn’t taken for anything else) shows video clips and pictures of simple reasons of human failure in procreation.

We can all enjoy a good laugh at these people, but in all honesty this is just a documentation of poor genes that are still in are much less than adequite gene pool, but without getting serious I had a great time looking through alot of these.

P.S. thanks Gianluca

Mike Gormley Update!

Well here is a special interview with the legend himself on Uncharted Zone. I am always amazed by the production value and amazing graphic work that Uncharted Zone puts into their work. As well as the brilliant scripting and management put into effect (when Mark forgets the names of the bands he was supposed to shout out to)
But the big news comes in when they announce a casting for Mark’s SIGNIFICANT OTHER

ATTENTION :

Keep your eyes open for new up and coming painter Kevin Tarasuk. His mysterious but broadly themed tableaux are a testament to  all that is DopeCool.

The Intense Song!

Some of us here at DopeCool have decided to have a fundraiser Benefit! :

toetreatdc

The Toe Therapy / Treatment center in Albion, ID (pop. 262) with a headlining appearance of Mike Gromley!
All proceeds go to The Toe Therapy / Treatment Center of Albion.

We just love Uncharted Zones aspirations and enthusiasm in life, and im sure we can all learn something from them. But we really had it handed to us when we saw and heard this beauty, “Without You” by Unchartered Zone’s #1 Hit Artist, Mike Gromley. We did research on Mike Gromley and found some unverified information that he went to the brilliant music education facility known as Pennus Manor High School and worked as a Music Supervisor for various hit films in the 80’s. We were lucky to get in contact with Mike Gromley by catching him at his last reunion at Pennus Manor High, to have this Fundraiser Benefit while he appears will only bring millions of dollars to the Toe Treatment Center so they can be properly fitted and up to date for the equipment they need to continue the ongoing research for Toe Treatment. This treatment will better America as a whole as well as bridge more commonitites between Toe’s and America.

My Idol

There are very few people that I acknowledge as being above me, being that 99% of people of this world are below me. But there is one person that is above everyone in this world, even above Barack Obama, Oprah, and Eminem combined. I came to the realization when I was presented with this evidence of his majesty:
11626999
This guy is now my idol. I will strive to be as cool as he is for the rest of my life and have a realistic lifetime goal of being as cool as his big toe on day. Good Luck to me.

Objectum Sexual

This is a crazy documentary about people who have loving (sexual) relationships with inanimate objects. I’m dead ass. A woman f##ks the Eiffel tower, the Golden Gate Bridge, a fence… People are crazy. Although the people may not be DopeCool, the concept surely is.

3 Noteworthy Performances

Just wanted to express 3 (of many) excellent performances in film. I really appreciate the actors/actresses that can become the character and portray such a depth of detail in that person.

Here are 3 very convincing roles in my opinion (I am not saying these are the top 3 I’m just pulling out some roles that were truly inspiring to me)

1. Bruno Ganz in Downfall

2. Mickey Rourke in The Wrestler

3. Leonardo DiCaprio in What’s Eating Gilbert Grape

See all these films! P.S. Do not complain about not adding The Joker, lets get real here, good performance, bad movie.

Zeitgeist: The Movie

What do terrorism, a world government and the Sun have in common? It turns out quite a lot. — If you have two hours to kill check out this solipsistic mushroom trip of a documentary. Zeitgeist: the movie is an entertaining exploration of how the big bang, the invent of organized religion, and 9/11 all tie into the new world order (a global governance). I think its pretty DOPECOOL; and if you don’t you clearly don’t smoke enough weed.
