I have to give it to this artist for thinking outside of the box. Kehinde Wiley tributed famous black people by having them pose in the prestigious and honorable poses in such paintings of hierarchy in the renaissance. This can be looked at as either brilliant and clever to cheesy or disrespectful which is why I think it is so brilliant.
