This is something that strikes me hard, as a child growing up inside the art world their are some names that always are mentioned, one of them being Damian Hirst. I always remember hearing his name tagged along with all sorts of reviews and opinions. I grew up appreciating the aesthetic sides of things in life, for example Supreme and various other clothing brands that portray cleverness or simple leftfield contrasts or colors. I guess that’s why Damian Hirst + Supreme became reality.

I appreciate these deck designs because of all that, I could be blinded by past judgements but check this shit out:

Although this also proves what many other people say, that stamping a a popular name on things doesn’t mean that it should automatically be idolized.
