This past weekend me and my friend Kenny went to Boston to the Bomb The Music Industry! release show for their new album “Scrambles”

BTMI! is a punk/sca/hardcore band from NY who are amazing for many reasons, they rule, all their music is available for free on the internets and if you bring an instrument to their show you can get on stage and play a song with them.

The show was full of many amazing bands and musicians, including Andrew Jackson Jihad and Laura Stevenson and the Cans

At the show I ended up purchasing my first ever vinyl with my own hard earned money. Its a split between Andrew Jackson Jihad and The Cobra Skulls. Andrew Jackson Jihad covers Nuetral Milk Hotel’s “Two Headed Boy” and The Cobra Skulls cover Bob Dylan’s “Subterranian Homesick Blues” and its an awesome black and white colored vinyl and the AJJ cover of NMH blew my mind live and blows my mind now.
