Time for some streetwear,

Check out “FRSH”, previously known as “Franco Shade”. These guys recently revamped their whole website in preparation for their summer 2009 line. This California based line is doing everything right in this extremely under-qualified bloggers eyes. Aside from having some awesome designs, FRSH also has their web 2.0 game down tight. Now-a-days I feel like if you want to have a successful company you have to create a strong internet presence to bring personality to your brand and really connect with your customer and thats just what FRSH has done. With an awesome new website, a blog and a twitter account (if you don’t mind the occasional basketball gambling update) They even have a vimeo account, and I have a very soft spot for vimeo.
All of this gives you a peak into who’s behind these sweet ass shirts and make it that much easier to give them your money.

I wish I had more money,

Johnny Cupcakes started in 2001 as the brain child of the man known as Johnny Cupcakes while he was working at “Newbury Comics” (chain of record stores around Mass.) His shirts often include easily recognizable pop culture icons cleverly modified to include cupcakes. The shirts are released in limited quantities and events are often held at the shops where very limited edition shirts are available.

I personally love Johnny’s philosophy that no one wants to wear something that everyone else has. When you buy a shirt from him you know that in a few months no one else is going to be able to buy the same shirt which is a great feeling.

Johnny now has three shops, in Boston and Hull Massachusetts and one in L.A.

nothing funny to say,
One of my favorite artists Parra designed a bunch of stuff for Sixpack France that are pretty dope. Parra does some amazing work, especially for folks into design and typography.
Sixpack France also has a lot of other cool shit so check that out too.
If you don’t mind that it’s in France,

Don’t Question Kings and Mishka are my top apparel brands at this moment, but not enough people know about Don’t Question Kings (arguably a good thing). So Don’t Question Kings wins. Plus their blog is nice.

My favorite tees from them:
Check their shit at http://dontquestionkings.com/gallery.htm
Love to Mishka as well
